FROM THOUGHTFUL SOCCER FOUNDER RUSS CARRINGTON:

Whether you’re a new coach, experienced coach, club representative, or player, this website contains everything you’ll need to explore, critique, and utilize Thoughtful Soccer.

You see, American Soccer is now based on the teaching dimension. Coaches are supposed to teach a lot of soccer lessons, one per practice. That has had unforeseen consequences at the grass roots level and at the top. Thoughtful Soccer is based instead on the playground dimension. It bottles the benefits of playground soccer and injects these into practices that any coach can organize. It also provides a very plausible theory about what ails American Soccer!

I encourage you to explore all three books, plus the articles and videos. And contact me to ask questions, provide feedback, or request a Thoughtful Soccer workshop for your club, your coaches, or your team!
